I would definitely have to say that over the past month Mia has probably tripled her vocabulary and is now saying a LOT of two word phrases. I've completely lost track of what new words she says when and have stopped recording them in the "words notebook" as she says over 150 words now, probably even more. I've just lost count. Sometimes she'll be in a particularly talkative mood and just point to every single thing in her room or our room and name the objects. Sometimes when I go to get her out of her crib in the morning (this is after I can hear her yelling "Mama, where are youuuuu?") she will point and say what each object is. "Lovey, blankie, pony, boop (for Betty Boop), window, bear, Elmo, fan, light, etc." She also loves pointing to each body part or facial features and rapidly saying, "eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, teeth, ears, head, hair, neck, chest, belly, elbow, arm, leg, feet, toes, etc." It's amazing!!!!!
p.s. I CANNOT BELIEVE SHE WILL BE 18 MONTHS OLD ON THURSDAY!!!!! A YEAR AND A HALF OLD!!!!
p.p.s. We took Mia to Brooksby Farm a couple weeks ago for her first apple picking trip. She loved it! We got a lot of apples!
