Mia's First Christmas and an update on the last 6 weeks!

I don't know what happened, but I haven't updated the blog in about 6 weeks and a LOT has happened! I will try my best to remember everything that has been going on over the past month and a half but Mia does new things each and every day, so it may be difficult to write everything!
First off, her two bottom front teeth are completely in, and have been for about a week or two.
She has been teething on the top two teeth for a while now as well and it looks like those will be cutting through soon! Mia has been pulling herself up to stand for about 2 months now and over the last few weeks has also been standing up on her own for a few seconds at a time! Matt and I get so excited when she does this and when she falls down on her bum, we cheer and clap to let her know she did such a good job standing by herself! She says "da da" all the time and I've been wanting her to say "ma ma" forever.....well, for the first time Mia said "ma ma" on Christmas! And a couple times since then! I love it!
Our holidays were really nice this year, we were able to celebrate with lots of family and Mia was enjoyed by all! We spent Christmas Eve at Matt's aunt Betsy's and his cousin Chris and wife Nicole's house in Lynn. Mia got to experience the Christmas parade for the first time. She seemed to like it but wasn't overly excited. She didn't cry at all by the loud noise of the parade.
Oh and Mia had her picture taken with Santa at the mall a couple days before Xmas! There was no line at all, we got right in and she had basically no reaction at all to Santa! She just stared at him, no smile but no tears. She did give a great big smile when the picture was taken as they had me jump up from behind a counter and yell "boo" while they waved a squeaky toy in the air. That made her smile! The picture is adorable so I just had to buy the package even though it was $26 for only 4 pictures (one 5x7, one 3x5 and two wallets). I'm glad I took her though, because I just couldn't have her miss seeing Santa for her first Christmas!
Christmas Day was also nice as well, we had Matt's mom and dad come over in the early afternoon to exchange gifts. Mia got sooooo many toys! Her mamere really spoiled her this Christmas! Then we headed over to my brother's bar/restaurant for a family gathering with my brother, mom, Larry and Matt's parents and exchanged more gifts. It was a really nice time.
And I'm so excited that I have 2 weeks off from work to spend with my little angel! I can't believe one week of it is already over but I'm looking forward to enjoying this next week off.
Mia continues to be an extremely active little girl! She is constantly moving and never stops! She's got a great appetite and has been eating all different types of foods like raspberries, blueberries, peaches, mangos, snap peas, french beans, rutabaga, golden beets, red beets, celery root, spinach, chicken, beef stew, garlic noodles, cheese, Yobaby yogurt, etc. etc. I could go on and on! We've also introduced finger foods to her, like Gerber puffs, veggie stix, and Cheerios. She does great picking up the snacks and feeding herself! At first she had a tough time but over the last week or so she has mastered the art of picking each snack up between her thumb and finger and putting it in her mouth!
Mia continues to growl and make her trilling noises. She makes all kinds of noises now as she tests out the pitch and range of her little voice! The growling is really funny, she does that a lot and people get a kick out of it! She's got such a wonderful personality and people are constantly remarking about what a happy baby she always is! We can definitely attest to that. She really is happy (unless she's overtired or hungry or needs her diaper changed).
